I've done a clean MO setup with only the necessary mods to try and find a fix. My bow and sword stay visible no matter what, but I want my shield to persist when I wield magic or my bow. My shield disappears when it is unequipped. So I want to combine them and I have them both loaded with working animations without any problems aside from the one that I can't fix: Dual Sheath Redux doesn't let me display all my equipped items. So from reading thoroughly the descriptions of each mod, it seems like Equipping Overhaul doesn't support shield on back.
